Jeffrey D. Keister

Mr. Keister’s practice focuses on civil litigation with an emphasis on construction, land development and real estate litigation, property and premises liability, trucking litigation, automobile defense, general business defense and first party defense.

He graduated with honors from Bowling Green State University with a dual major of political science and interpersonal communication. Mr. Keister received his Juris Doctor from the Ohio Northern University Pettit College of Law where he served as Chief Justice of the Moot Court Program, was a member of the American Bar Association National Appellate Advocacy Team, and was inducted into the Order of Barristers. He regularly represents clients in state and federal courts in North Carolina and is admitted to practice in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit. He is a member of the Mecklenburg County Bar Association, the North Carolina State Bar, the North Carolina Bar Association, the Defense Research Institute, and the North Carolina Association of Defense Attorneys. He was named a Rising Star in North Carolina Super Lawyers magazine for 2009 and 2010.
