McAngus Goudelock & Courie, a regional insurance defense firm, is pleased to announce the addition of attorneys Robert Grimmett-Norris and David Kernodle to the firm’s Charlotte office. Grimmett-Norris focuses his practice on workers’ compensation defense and Kernodle focuses his practice on litigation, commercial litigation and products liability.

Robert Grimmett-Norris earned a Juris Doctor from St. Louis University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Prior to joining MGC, he practiced insurance defense litigation in St. Louis, Missouri.

 

 

David Kernodle earned a Juris Doctor from North Carolina Central University and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Prior to joining MGC, he served as an Assistant District Attorney in Mecklenburg County. He is a member of the Mecklenberg County Bar Association, where he was a part of the Leadership Institute’s Class of 2013. Kernodle also serves on the Board of Directors for Love INC Charlotte, is a Post Leader for Boy Scouts of America – Criminal Law Explorers and serves as a Deacon and Volunteer Youth Leader at Westminster Presbyterian Church.
