Christopher represents employers, insurance carriers and municipalities in routine to catastrophic injury by accident and occupational disease claims in MGC’s Raleigh office. Prior to joining the firm, he spent over eight years at the North Carolina Industrial Commission; Christopher served as the Chief Operating Officer from 2013-2014, Chief Deputy Commissioner from 2014-2016 and was appointed Commissioner by the Governor where he served from 2016-2021. Prior to the Commission, he practiced general litigation at an established Wilmington law firm for over seven years.

Christopher helped draft and promulgate the Workers’ Compensation Rules used in practice in North Carolina today. He also has a deep understanding and institutional knowledge of the Workers’ Compensation Act, and how to effectively navigate the most difficult cases through all levels of the Industrial Commission.

Outside of MGC, Christopher enjoys playing tennis and spending time with his family around the waters of Wilmington.
