Hugh Gallagher’s practice focuses on construction, transportation and premises liability in the firm’s Columbia office. Prior to joining MGC, he was a staff attorney for the South Carolina Supreme Court. Hugh also served as a litigation and insurance defense law clerk at a local firm as well as a staff attorney intern for the South Carolina Court of Appeals. While studying law at the University of South Carolina, he was a member of the Order of the Wig and Robe and an articles editor for Volume 72 of the South Carolina Law Review.

Outside of the office, Hugh enjoys traveling with his wife Kate, skiing, playing golf, spending time on the water and rooting for the Tennessee Volunteers.
