JD McAlister’s practice focuses on general liability defense, municipal liability, premises liability, products liability, construction litigation, commercial litigation, bad faith, coverage disputes and UM/UIM claims in the firm’s Charlotte office. In 2024, JD was voted to the North Carolina Association of Defense Attorneys' Board of Directors for a three-year term.

Outside of the MGC, JD enjoys spending time with his family, running, playing golf and watching live music.
