Ryan Bisplinghoff’s practice has focused on workers’ compensation defense since he joined the firm’s Raleigh office in 2007. Ryan regularly represents a wide variety of employers, carriers and third party administrators in all stages of workers’ compensation litigation before the North Carolina Industrial Commission and North Carolina appellate courts. In December 2014, Ryan expanded the firm’s footprint to the coast, opening MGC’s Wilmington office. Ryan is a regular presenter on hot topics in workers’ compensation for both clients and larger conferences, including the Workers’ Compensation Defense Institute’s Multi-State Breakout at the WCI’s annual Workers’ Compensation Educational Conference in Orlando.

Outside of the office, Ryan spends his free time running and biking the trails and greenways of North Carolina, playing golf, following ACC Sports and politics, and spending time with friends and family.
