Monica’s practice focuses on litigation, professional liability and insurance coverage, with the capability to serve clients in South Carolina and Massachusetts. For nearly a decade, she has dedicated her practice to insurance litigation and coverage, and regularly represents clients in state and federal courts regarding those matters. Over the years, Monica has evaluated coverage issues under the laws of dozens of states with a particular focus on claims in South Carolina and Massachusetts.
Monica’s representation is built on a foundation of client communication, unique case analysis and timely reporting. “My client’s goals are my goals,” she says. “In this regard, I must go above and beyond to fully listen to my clients’ unique perspectives, interests and needs. Once I understand my client’s goals, I keep them updated and informed every step of the way as we work together to meet their goals.”
While studying at University of South Carolina School of Law, Monica was an active member of the Moot Court Bar and Mock Trial Bar where she received multiple trial awards and championships including the D. Reece Williams III Trial Advocacy Award, Mark Blickle Scholarship for Appellate Advocacy and Justice Powell Medal for Excellence in Advocacy. Upon graduating, she served as an alumni coach helping future attorneys build practical experiences and skills.
Outside of MGC, Monica enjoys spending time with her spouse and two children, walking outdoors, watching sports and diving into true crime stories.
