Chuck Mangelsdorf’s practice focuses on civil litigation, including commercial vehicle accidents, product liability, criminal acts/negligent security, dram shop, premises liability, sports/recreation liability and professional liability. He has significant experience in defending and trying tractor-trailer collision accident cases and litigating issues surrounding negligent entrustment, negligent hiring, driver fatigue, load securement and hours of service. He has tried numerous jury trials to verdict in state and federal courts, and he routinely advocates for clients in mediation and judicial settlement conferences. Chuck is asked to speak on a regular basis to attorneys and risk managers on the subjects involving transportation law and tort law. He also serves on MGC’s Trucking: Rapid Response Team.
Chuck is married to a criminal defense lawyer and they enjoy spending time with their children. Chuck’s passion is cave exploration and he has discovered a number of caves in Tennessee.
