Shawn Bevans practices in the firm’s Charleston office where he regularly defends the interests of businesses and individuals in South Carolina state and federal courts. Through his active litigation practice, Shawn has developed significant trial experience handling matters involving automobile and boating accidents, products liability, premises liability, construction defect and other general tort liability cases.
Prior to joining MGC, Shawn served as the editor in chief of the Charleston Maritime Law Bulletin (MALABU) and as a judicial extern for the Hon. Sol Blatt, Jr., Senior United States District Court Judge for the District of South Carolina.
While he’s away from the office, Shawn spends his time in and on the waterways of the Lowcountry, chasing around his Irish Setter and cheering on the Clemson Tigers.
