Stephen Morton works in the firm’s Nashville office and has practiced in the area of workers’ compensation defense since 2000. Stephen defends insurers and self-insured businesses through all phases of the workers’ compensation claims process, from initial claim reporting through litigation and trial. He represents clients in a broad range of industries, from manufacturing and staffing solutions to retail and logistics. Stephen works closely with employers and claims professionals in developing cooperative strategies, management, and defense unique to each claim.

The Middle Tennessee native earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from The University of Tennessee in 1995, followed by his Doctor of Jurisprudence from Cumberland School of Law in Birmingham, Alabama in 2000. Outside of work, Stephen can be found fishing, cooking and playing sports with his wife and two sons.
