James Fant’s practice focuses on litigation in the firm’s Greenville office, where he represents insurance carriers. James believes in the importance of "hard work and timely task completion." Prior to joining MGC, he served as a law clerk to The Honorable R. Scott Sprouse in the Tenth Judicial Circuit. James also served as a law clerk with the South Carolina House Judiciary Committee and for a civil litigation firm in South Carolina. 

In his personal time, James enjoys outdoor activities such as hunting, fly-fishing and golfing. He is a fan of the South Carolina Gamecocks and Wofford Terriers.
