Gus Kapatos’s practice focuses on construction litigation, litigation and premises liability in the firm’s Garden City office, where he represents a diverse range of businesses, universities and individuals including property owners, property management companies, contractors, construction management companies as well as sports and entertainment facilities. With over a decade of experience, Gus understands the importance of “listening to the needs of the client, gaining their trust, being responsive, taking a wholistic approach and stepping back to see the big picture with respect to what the client wants to achieve.” Prior to joining MGC, he practiced general liability, commercial litigation and employment law and was trial counsel for an insurance company in New York. 

In his personal time, Gus enjoys spending time with his family, reading, traveling and supporting his favorite teams, the New York Mets and Knicks.
