Matt’s practice focuses on litigation matters, bringing more than 15 years of wide-ranging legal experience to MGC’s Richmond office. He also serves on MGC’s Trucking: Rapid Response Team.

In his representation of insurance companies, Matt is adamant about communicating effectively, while going above and beyond in all aspects of his practice. “My clients need and expect an attorney that is going to partner with them to formulate an effective resolution strategy,” he says. “It's my job to keep my eyes and ears open to find a reasonable resolution as early as possible to avoid getting mired in litigation with no end in sight.”

Outside of MGC, Matt enjoys spending time keeping up with his son and daughter. He is also an avid runner, and has dozens of half marathons and a handful of marathons and ultramarathons under his belt; his proudest running accomplishments will always be his sub-8 minute Beer Mile and sub-6 minute Blue Jeans Mile.
