For over two decades, Michele Wojcik has represented the interests of the insurance industry. Michele is proficient in all facets of insurance coverage, including personal lines, commercial lines, professional lines and specialty lines. She has defended insurance carriers against extracontractual claims, provided counsel on coverage obligations and litigated issues concerning duty to defend and indemnify. Additionally, Michele has represented attorneys and other professionals in professional liability claims and general defense matters, including complex claims. She routinely handles appeals that arise in cases, and has argued before the Appellate Court and Supreme Court of Connecticut. Whether clients are faced with a coverage or bad faith issue, Michele strives to support them in every facet by providing guidance and offering realistic solutions.
Michele frequently shares her insights to clients and national organizations, including CLM, NBI and the American Bar Association, on issues of insurance coverage and avoiding extracontractual claims. She is a fellow of the American College of Coverage Counsel—the preeminent association of attorneys who represent the interests of insurers and policyholders—serves as co-chair on CLM's Insurance Coverage Committee, and is a member of the Connecticut Bar Association as well as the Federation of Defense and Corporate Counsel.
Outside of MGC, Michele spends her time cooking and enjoying the lake life with her husband.
