Shelby Boykin’s practice focuses on motor vehicle litigation, premises liability as well as SIU/arson and fraud in the firm’s Charlotte office, where she represents insurance companies, their insureds and businesses of various industries. With nearly a decade of experience, Shelby understands the importance of “providing accessible, trustworthy legal representation that thoughtfully addresses client concerns.” Prior to joining MGC, she served as an Assistant Attorney General in the North Carolina Department of Justice, specializing in civil litigation, workers' compensation and criminal appeals. In this role Shelby conducted a federal jury trial as first chair. 

In Shelby’s personal time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Brandon, traveling, flying light aircrafts, boating, crafting and cheering for the Tennessee Vols.
