With nearly two decades of legal experience, Stephanie Hoffman represents companies and their clients in insurance coverage, litigation, as well as SIU/arson and fraud matters. "My clients have come to rely on me to not just defend an individual case, but to advise on overall strategy and to provide an honest and fair opinion," she says. Prior to joining MGC, Stephanie practiced with the Office of the State Attorney for Florida’s Twentieth Judicial Circuit, a national insurance company, as well as various civil defense and insurance law firms.
Beyond her legal practice, Stephanie has volunteered with organizations such as Habitat for Humanity and Feeding America. She also drafts wills and powers of attorney for first responders and low-income community members through clinics hosted by Wills for Heroes, and serves as a scoring juror with the North Carolina Mock Trials program.
Outside of MGC, Stephanie enjoys gardening and listening to audiobooks while knitting, tackling home improvement projects or taking long walks. In 2023, she and her family moved to North Carolina and are happily settling into life in Charlotte, where they enjoy pub trivia and escape rooms. Stephanie also has two rescue Australian Cattle Dogs, Romeo and Juliet. Stephanie also plays the cello with the Stateline Orchestra in Pineville.
