GREENVILLE, SC – Attorney Katie Grove in MGC’s Greenville office was named treasurer of the Greenville County Bar Association and will serve as one of the four officials elected into office for 2020. From 2016 to 2019, she served as the membership committee chair. Grove is also a member of the South Carolina Bar Association, South Carolina Trial Attorneys’ Association and the Haynsworth-Perry American Inn of Court.
Katie Grove has been practicing law for the last decade, and focuses on workers’ compensation defense at MGC. She received her Juris Doctor degree and Bachelor of Science degree from the University of South Carolina. Grove was named a Rising Star in 2019 by South Carolina Super Lawyers.
The purpose of the Greenville County Bar Association is to promote the common business and professional interests of lawyers practicing in Greenville County. Each year, the Bar elects four officers: President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer. These attorneys and numerous committee chairs volunteer their time to the organization.
