GARDEN CITY, NY – Law firm McAngus Goudelock & Courie (MGC) is pleased to announce the addition of attorneys Todd Harris and Aaron VanNostrand to their Garden City office. MGC expanded their footprint to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and Garden City, New York in August of 2022. This expansion marked the firm’s growth into eight states with 18 total offices.
For over two decades, Todd Harris has litigated cases in state and federal courts throughout New York, New Jersey and Massachusetts. With a focus on insurance defense, his practice includes representing local, national and international retailers, manufacturers, restaurants, hotels and hospitality clients. Harris has served as coverage counsel for claims arising out of respiratory injury from the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001, as well as claims related to diacetyl exposure (or “popcorn lung” litigation). His experience also extends to arbitration and other forms of alternative dispute resolution.
Aaron VanNostrand’s practice focuses on general litigation, bringing nearly a decade of insurance defense experience to the firm. He earned a Bachelor of Science from Rochester Institute of Technology, graduating with honors. While studying at the University at Buffalo School of Law earning his Juris Doctor, VanNostrand was continuously recognized for his exemplary performance; he was awarded the Robert J. Connelly Award for Excellence in Trial Advocacy, the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Trial Advocacy and the James M. Kieffer Trial Excellence Award.
