MEMPHIS, TN – McAngus Goudelock & Courie (MGC), a regional insurance defense firm, is pleased to announce that Memphis attorney Lauren Holloway has been appointed hearing committee member for Disciplinary District 9. In this service role, she will be available to review recommendations by the Board’s counsel as to dismissals, diversion and private informal admonitions against attorneys in her district.

Holloway earned a Juris Doctor from the University of Memphis Cecil C. Humphrey’s School of Law, and a Bachelor of Arts from Arkansas State University. Her practice focuses on general litigation, including commercial litigation, construction, trucking, employment, nursing home liability, premises liability and products liability defense. Holloway serves on MGC’s Trucking Rapid Response Team, a committee of informed legal counsel with extensive experience in post-accident investigation. She is a member of the Tennessee Defense Lawyers’ Association, Tennessee Bar Association, National Bar Association and Missouri Bar Association. Holloway also serves on the annual conference committee for the Tennessee Lawyers’ Association for Women. This year, she was named in the Top 100 by The National Black Lawyers.
