MEMPHIS, TN – McAngus Goudelock & Courie (MGC), a regional insurance defense firm, is pleased to announce that Memphis attorney Lauren Holloway has been in the Top 100 by The National Black Lawyers. The professional honorary organization is composed of 100 Black lawyers from each state who excel in their practice and promote diversity in the legal profession. Membership is invitation-only, and the multi-phase selection process includes peer nominations combined with third-party research.

Holloway earned a Juris Doctor from the University of Memphis Cecil C. Humphrey’s School of Law, and a Bachelor of Arts from Arkansas State University. Her practice focuses on general litigation, including commercial litigation, construction, trucking, employment, nursing home liability, premises liability and products liability defense. Holloway serves on MGC’s Trucking Rapid Response Team, a committee of informed legal counsel with extensive experience in post-accident investigation. She is a member of the Tennessee Defense Lawyers’ Association, Tennessee Bar Association, National Bar Association and Missouri Bar Association. Holloway also serves on the annual conference committee for the Tennessee Lawyers’ Association for Women.

The National Black Lawyers Top 100 was created to celebrate legal excellence by promoting Black attorneys, developing a strong national network of top Black attorneys and facilitating the exchange of timely information to enable their members to maintain their status as leaders. An elite network of legal professionals, their members are some of the most well-known practicing lawyers and leaders in American history.
