JACKSON, MS – McAngus Goudelock & Courie (MGC), a regional insurance law firm, is pleased to announce the addition of attorney Joe Hemleben to their Jackson office. His practice primarily focuses on premises liability, transportation and trucking, bringing nearly a decade of legal experience to the firm. Hemleben is an officer in the US Air Force Reserve Judge Advocate General’s Corps and was enlisted in the United States Marine Corps Reserve from 2004 to 2011.

Hemleben graduated with a Juris Doctor and Bachelor of Arts from Mississippi College. He is a member of the Mississippi Bar’s Military Assistance Committee and Mississippi Commission on Guardianship and Conservatorship. In 2019, Hemleben was one of 20 accepted into the Mississippi Bar’s Leadership Forum, which prepares lawyers for future opportunities in leadership roles. In 2017, he also completed Commissioned Officer’s Training School at the Maxwell Air Force Base and the Judge Advocate Staff Officer Course at the US Air Force Base.
