RALEIGH, NC – McAngus Goudelock & Courie (MGC), a regional insurance defense firm, is pleased to announce that Raleigh attorney JD Keister has been named treasurer of the North Carolina Association of Defense Attorneys (NCADA).

Keister earned a Juris Doctor from the Ohio Northern University Pettit College of Law and Bachelor of Arts from Bowling Green State University. He has practiced civil litigation and complex litigation for nearly two decades, while being an active speaker on hot topics related to the industry, including litigation management. Keister is a member of the North Carolina Bar Association, North Carolina State Bar Association, Mecklenburg County Bar Association, Wake County Bar Association and Professional Liability Underwriting Society. He is also the president of the Claims and Litigation Management Alliance Eastern North Carolina Chapter, and serves on the Steering Committee of the Defense Research Institute’s Insurance Roundtable.
