COLUMBIA, SC – Law firm McAngus Goudelock & Courie (MGC) is pleased to announce the five recipients of the 2022 MGC Diversity Scholarship. Introduced last year, the scholarship provides diverse law students with access to opportunities that will aid in their development as legal professionals. “We are so proud to be able to offer scholarships to such talented students,” says Belong @ MGC chair Lynn Olmert. “This is the second year for the program, and the response has been tremendous and interest continues to grow. I am so encouraged that they are the future of our profession.”

The program awarded $2,500 to each recipient for the 2022-2023 school year. “After a successful program in 2021, the firm is pleased to extend the MGC Law Student Diversity Scholarship into its second year,” says MGC managing member Jay Courie. “We are committed to ensuring that diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) remain at the forefront of the firm. Based on our first year success we have expanded our program to recognize five additional scholarship recipients.
