The law firm of McAngus Goudelock & Courie is pleased to announce that Nelda Canada, a paralegal in the firm’s Columbia office, received the Palmetto Paralegal Association Paralegal of the Year award.
The Paralegal of the Year award is the association’s highest award, given annually to recognize a paralegal’s individual commitment and contribution to the paralegal profession. The award was established in 1997. The Palmetto Paralegal Association was established in 1998 to promote professional development through continuing legal education and to enhance the recognition of the paralegal profession within the legal community.
“We are proud to have Nelda as a part of the MG&C family,” said Jay Courie, Managing Member. “This honor is well-deserved, and Nelda demonstrates her commitment to the legal community every day through her dedication and determination.”
Canada has been a paralegal for over 30 years, and has worked at MG&C for 13 years.
