COLUMBIA, SC – Attorney Matt Moser in MGC’s Columbia office was named president of Kids’ Chance of South Carolina. Since 2019, he has been an active member of the organization’s Board of Directors, previously serving as vice-president. Comprised of volunteers representing various industries, the Board provides guidance and oversight on all levels of organizational activity.

“We are very excited to have Matt take on this new role as president,” says Angie Kohl, Executive Director of Kids’ Chance of South Carolina. “His strong leadership abilities and passion for helping others will ensure that the children of South Carolina’s injured workers will continue to be able to further their education.”

Matt Moser has been practicing law for over a decade and focuses on workers’ compensation defense at MGC. He received a Juris Doctor from the University of South Carolina School of Law and Bachelor of Arts from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Moser is a member of the South Carolina Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Division. He has been named in Columbia Business Monthly's Legal Elite of the Midlands and Best Lawyers©: Ones to Watch since 2020 for his practice.

Kids’ Chance of South Carolina, Inc. was founded in 1992 by members of the workers’ compensation community. For 30 years, the organization has proudly made a significant difference in the lives of affected South Carolina families by providing scholarship support to help eligible students pursue and achieve their educational goals. Since the first scholarship award in 1995, nearly 500 scholarships have been awarded totaling $1.25 million.
