GREENVILLE, SC – Greenville attorney Zach Brown was elected to join the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA). Brown will serve in the organization’s South Carolina chapter with the goal of promoting higher ethical and technical standards of advocacy, ensuring that individual litigants receive better representation and that the public benefits from a more efficient and just legal system. ABOTA is a prestigious, invitation-only organization of skilled trial attorneys and judges. To qualify, ABOTA members must have at least five years of active experience as a trial attorney, have tried at least 10 civil jury trials to conclusion and possess additional litigation experience. Brown joins attorneys Brett Bayne, Ashley Howard, Dominic Starr and Bobby Thompson who are current members of ABOTA, with attorney Sean Stadelman having completed the organization's National Trial College program.

For nearly a decade, Brown has focused his practice on general civil litigation defense, including automobile negligence, premises liability, dram shop liability and construction defects. He specializes in trial litigation and seeing cases through to verdict. Brown was recognized earlier this year for his civil litigation practice by Greenville Business Magazine's Legal Elite of the Upstate. He was also named a Top Lawyer in 2023 by TALK Greenville Magazine.
