The law firm of McAngus Goudelock & Courie is pleased to announce that Jordan Benton has joined the firm’s Charlotte office, Joseph Chambliss has joined the firm's Raleigh office and Jeanmarie Tankersley has joined the firm's Greenville office.
Mr. Benton's practice focuses on workers' compensation defense. He graduated from Wake Forest University with a bachelor of arts in Economics and Political Science and received his law degree from Wake Forest School of Law.
Mr. Chambliss' practice focuses on construction law, professional malpractice, general liability, trucking and mediation. He graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and received his law degree from Campbell University School of Law. He is a member of the North Carolina Bar Association and the North Carolina Association of Defense Attorneys. Mr. Chambliss is also involved with Urban Ministries of Durham as a past board member and president. He holds an “AV” rating from Martindale-Hubbell.
Ms. Tankersley's practice focuses on general litigation. She graduated from College of Charleston with a bachelor of arts degree in History and received her law degree from the University of Georgia. While at the University of Georgia, she served as executive editor of the Journal of Intellectual Property Law, president of the Student Bar Association, president of the Public Interest Law Council, and was a member of Women Law Student Association and Phi Alpha Delta.
