CHARLOTTE, NC – Charlotte attorney JD McAlister of law firm McAngus Goudelock & Courie (MGC) was voted to the North Carolina Association of Defense Attorneys’ (NCADA) Board of Directors for a three-year term. NCADA’s mission is to bring together civil trial attorneys to promote the administration of justice, the exchange of information, ideas and litigation techniques, and to strengthen the practice, improve the skills and enhance the knowledge of lawyers who defend individuals and represent businesses in civil cases in North Carolina.

McAlister has been handling general liability defense, municipal liability, premises liability, products liability, construction litigation, commercial litigation, bad faith, coverage disputes and UM/UIM claims for nearly a decade across North Carolina. He earned a Juris Doctor from Wake Forest University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts from Davidson College. McAlister is also a member of CLM, DRI, Mecklenburg County Bar Association and North Carolina Bar Association.
