GREENVILLE, SC – Greenville attorney Stephanie Pugh of law firm McAngus Goudelock & Courie (MGC) was elected Vice President of the South Carolina Workers’ Compensation Educational Association (SCWCEA). Pugh previously served on the organization’s Executive Board in 2019. SCWCEA conducts seminars and programs designed to educate those involved in workers' compensation claims in the state.
Pugh earned a Juris Doctor and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of South Carolina, as well as a Bachelor of Science from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke. She has been practicing law since 2009, and regularly speaks and presents on workers’ compensation at seminars across South Carolina. Pugh is also a member of the South Carolina Defense Trial Attorneys’ Association, South Carolina Women Lawyers Association and Greenville Young Lawyers Association. In 2023, she was recognized for her workers’ compensation practice by Greenville Business Magazine's Legal Elite of the Upstate.
