McAngus Goudelock & Courie, a regional insurance defense firm, is pleased to announce the addition of attorneys Shawn Bevans, Jonathan Lane and Christine Ormand to the firm’s Charleston office.
Shawn Bevans joins the firm’s litigation practice, focusing on general civil litigation, insurance defense, general liability, personal injury defense and construction litigation. He earned his Juris Doctor from Charleston School of Law and his Bachelor of Science degree from Clemson University. Bevans is a member of the American Bar Association and the Charleston County Bar Association. He is also a member of the South Carolina Bar Association, where he serves on the South Carolina Special Olympics committee and the Make-a-Wish Foundation committee.
Jonathan Lane joins the firm’s employment law practice. He also handles appellate law. Prior to joining MGC, Lane practiced labor and employment in the Charleston area. He earned his Juris Doctor from Charleston School of Law and his Bachelor of Arts degree from College of Charleston. He is a member of the Charleston County Bar Association and the American Bar Association.
Christine Ormand joins the firm’s workers’ compensation practice. Prior to joining MGC, she practiced litigation and real estate law. She earned her Juris Doctor from Charleston School of Law and her Bachelor of Arts degree from College of Charleston. She is a member of the South Carolina Bar Association and the Charleston County Bar Association.
