Jonathan Lane’s practice focuses on employment litigation and counseling in MGC's Charleston office. He is experienced in all aspects of employment and labor law, and regularly represents employers in federal and state court litigation, and in claims pending before state and federal agencies. Jonathan also partners with employers to provide counseling on legal compliance across the spectrum of employment issues. He routinely assists clients with contract matters, handbook and policy reviews and revisions, personnel issues, compliance training and internal investigations. Jonathan prides himself on providing thoughtful counsel to his clients with an eye towards avoiding claims, and zealous and efficient advocacy where disputes are unavoidable.

Jonathan resides in West Ashley with his wife, two children, and their dog, Doug. When not in the office, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, taking in live music and exploring Charleston’s culinary community.
