MYRTLE BEACH, SC – MGC Myrtle Beach attorney Abby Saunders has been appointed to serve as a 15th Circuit Delegate in the South Carolina Bar House of Delegates—a group of members who establish policy for the organization. Her term will start on July 1, 2022.

Saunders’ practice focuses on business litigation, tort litigation, construction defect litigation, transportation and trucking, premises liability, admiralty, nonprofit and exempt organizations as well as state and local taxation. She also advises clients on general corporate matters, and is certified as a Circuit Court Mediator by the South Carolina Board of Arbitrator and Mediator Certification.

Saunders is a Lifetime Fellow of the American Bar Foundation, and member of the American Inns of Court, Charleston County Bar Association, Coastal Women Lawyers Association, Horry County Bar Association, South Carolina Bar and South Carolina Bar Foundation. She is also a founding member of the Coastal Inn of Court, James L. Petigru Inn of Court, Junior League of the Grand Strand and Sir Francis Drake Admiralty Inn of Court. In 2019, Saunders was appointed by the Supreme Court to the South Carolina Board of Bar Examiners.
