RICHMOND, VA – McAngus Goudelock & Courie (MGC), a regional insurance defense firm, is pleased to announce that Richmond attorney Emily Bishop has been named president of the Henrico County Bar Association for the 2020/2021 term. Bishop has been actively involved in the organization since 2016 – beginning her affiliation on the board of directors.

Bishop received a Juris Doctor from the University of Richmond, a Master of Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University and a Bachelor of Arts from Virginia Polytechnic Institute & State University – she is also a certified litigation management professional. Bishop is a member of the Virginia Bar Association, Virginia Association of Defense Attorneys and Defense Research Institute, and has been named a Virginia Super Lawyers Rising Star since 2016.

The members of the Henrico County Bar Association are judges and attorneys who practice in all areas of the law, both inside the courtroom and in the community.
