CHARLESTON, SC– Law firm McAngus Goudelock & Courie (MGC) is pleased to announce the addition of attorney Stephen Kozick to their Charleston office, with a practice focused on construction, litigation and products liability. Prior to joining MGC, Kozick practiced construction defect, personal injury and products liability law in Charleston, South Carolina. He also served as a law clerk to the Honorable David C. Norton, Chief US District Judge, District of South Carolina. Prior to becoming an attorney, Kozick had a 15-year long career as a public servant, working for the US Drug Enforcement Administration and US Probation.

Kozick earned a Juris Doctor from the Charleston School of Law, where he graduated magna cum laude, and a Bachelor of Art from Mary Washington College, where he graduated summa cum laude. While attending the Charleston School of Law, he was recognized with the CALI Award in Property II, Construction Law, Employment Law and Bankruptcy. Kozick is a member of the Charleston County Bar Association and the South Carolina Bar Association. He is also a board member of Blissful Dreams Rescue Ranch, a non-profit rescue ranch for horses that are used in various programs to help adults and children with disabilities. In 2019, Kozick was recognized for his practice as a Rising Star by South Carolina Super Lawyers.
